Late afternoon
The old town, from the Glorieta to Santa Ana
Santa Ana church (1520), San Miguel castle (1575) and the Santo Domingo convent: the three landmarks the official listing names, all within ten minutes' walk of each other.
With the sun low

The seafront runs along the natural pools. Even if you do not swim, it is where you see how the 1706 lava met the sea and why the town stopped being the island's port.
