Mirador de Cherfe
A viewpoint at 1,100 m on the road from Masca to Santiago del Teide, with a lay-by on each side of the carriageway. It gives an unusual view of Teide from the west, with Chinyero and the Santiago valley in front; turning round, you see the Teno mountains, Masca and, out at sea, La Gomera and La Palma. Many people climb a small rise beside it for photos.
